After all that verbage (see May entry entitled Redemption), I didn't show you what the headboard looks like on our bed. Here it is, with unadorned comforter:

I took these pictures four weeks ago, and I don't think the bed has been made since. Hm.~emrys

Very nice headboard and the first thought that came to mind was how old will Gwen be when she tires to fit her head in between the branches and gets stuck. Ok I am jaded by having the boys.
It is a very cool headboard, and why make the bed if you are just going to lay down in it again.
I agree with Midge--having grown up in a family of 6 kids. It makes for fun stories later! ;-D
What?? Emrys doesn't make the bed every day????
